Cello Lesson #28 – Double Stops and Spiccato

February 17, 2010 jeansdream

It’s been a while sine my last lesson (I had a long vacation).  Tonight’s class was painful – literally!

Fingers hurt like crazy (my poor baby finger… 😦  )

Two take-aways for the coming 2 weeks:  double stops and spiccato.

Technically I get double stops.  Guess I just need to learn the right degree to play two strings simutaneously.  But I am at total loss on spiccato – I kind of get it in the brain, but the sounds come out all wrong after the third/fourth “bounce”…  ai ya ya!
