Forgot what I dreamed last night. How about this topic: today’s day dream on the way to work.

How much is $36,000,000.00? What does that mean? It’s very inviting. Third largest jackpot in Lotto 6/49.

One “passive” voice: “Will any one at work organize a ticket roll for today’s jackpot… what if someone invites me…”
One “exclusive” voice: “Why would you want to share the money with your colleagues; what if the whole work team won… oh that would make “Ebo” (my boss at my last and current job) cry…”
One “logic” voice: “If you don’t buy, you will never win…”
One “statistics” voice: “If you buy a ticket, remember to buy another one with the same number(s)… that increases your odd of taking a bigger share of the jackpot in case someone is as “lucky”‘ as you are… and in the event that no one else has the same winning number, you’re just paying $10 extra?…”
Another “statistics” voice: “What’s the odd of winning? Is it worth to trade your faith with this odd…”
One voice: “Why are you even thinking about this…”

What’s your voice?

Funny random logic about $36 million. Me and my boss (aka my better half) went to a stand-up comedy show the other night. And the comedian cracked a joke about what does $37 billion dollars feel like (the amount of money Warren Buffett donated to charities). Well, suppose you win a $3 million lottery. At that rate, you have to win this $3 million lottery 365 days a year for 33 and 288 days with absolutely no holiday ! That kind of money is mind numbing indeed.

What Warren did was truly wonderful for all of human kind.

Sorry, had a typo. It should have said, “33 YEARS and 288 days”. I left the word “years” out.
